Skyfall / スカイフォール

Very long time to wait!  Finally went to see a new James Bond Film, Skyfall on Sunday 28th October.  It was officially released on Friday 26th October, but didn't have enough time to go to see a cinema as well as all seats are sold out in IMAX for next two weeks (only available a show starting from 0:20am ish).  I compromised to go to one of the biggest Odeon at Leicester Square.  Its capacity is 1800, but all sold out, too!  Please go to watch this movie - as all film critics said, "BEST BOND EVER" for me.  This is a perfect movie to celebrate for 50 years of franchise.  No fancy gadget, rather simple and original weapons only, and this is a return-to-the-starting-line type of movie with full of Brutishness.  Do you want to know the story?  Very tempting but you have to watch this.  One more thing - this is a very long movie, so don't forget to pee beforehand if you don't want to miss a thing! 

日本では公開が12月1日となっている、007の新しい映画、スカイフォールを見てきました。
配給元のMGMが財政難となりしばらくの間制作が中断されましたが、待った甲斐がありました。ぜひ観に行って～。シリーズ50周年を飾るのにふさわしい映画です。ダニエルクレイグボンドの前作2つの作品とは比較にならないくらいいいボンド映画で、なんだか見直してしまった。若くて血の気が多い少し荒々しいボンドを描いた前2作より、磨きがかかり大人になったボンドを見ることができます（でもまだセクシーさには欠けてるけど…）。ストーリー？ ネタバレになるから言えません。ぜひ公開当日のチケットをゲットすることをお勧めします。原点に戻った、というか英国らしさが全編に感じられ、姿を消す車など夢のガジェットやノックによって爆破するペンなど時代遅れのガジェットもなし。新しいQ もお披露目です。お楽しみに。

The Iron Lady / 鉄の女の涙

My boyfriend and I went to see a movie called "The Iron Lady" on Saturday which has been released about a week ago.  I read some movie critics' article about the movie including her disease she has been suffering since about 8 years ago. 
She was  the Prime Minister for 11.5 years and she has done so many things which no men could do before her.  She just want to shake the Parliament to change, however she was selected as the Prime Minster.  During 80's, there were many things (good or bad) happened including the Forkland Conflict or riots.  I felt very sad in the middle because she looks very miserable as one old lady.  The thing is, she is still alive and as some movie critics said, maybe this is bit too early to release.  Having said that, Meryl Streep played very well with the British accent and her way of speaking was exactly the same as Margaret's.  I have a both feeling - part of me enjoyed but part of me felt bit too sad.

土曜日の午後、彼と二人で先週末から公開された The Iron Lady（邦題：鉄の女の涙）を観てきました。新聞やテレビの映画番組などで前評判は聞いていましたし、8年位前からサッチャー女史が患っているといわれる痴ほう症についても聞いていました。サッチャー女史が首相を務めた80年代はフォークランド紛争も含めて激動な時代。その中で彼女はたくさんのことを成し遂げ（いい悪いにかかわらず）、最高76％の支持率も獲得しました。「私が生きている間に女性の首相が誕生することはないわね」といいながら、単に男どもを揺さぶってやるために立ち上がっただけなのに当選。話し方や髪形を変えたりと、成功に向けて進んでいく姿がとてもすてきでした。が、年老いてご主人が亡くなってからのマーガレットの描かれ方がちょっと悲しすぎます。まだ存命しているのでこの映画は少し早すぎるのではないか、という映画評論家の方々のコメントがなんだかよくわかりました。がメリルストリープの英語、すごいです。あの人、英人？と思うくらい、普通にブリテッシュを話しているんです！それにしゃべり方もサッチャー女史にそっくり。さすが、名女優～。お勧めしたい気持ちとしたくない気持ちが半々です。でもメリルストりープの演技は一見の価値ありです。
