Opera Don Giorvanni / オペラ ドン・ジョヴァンニ

My friends asked me to come to see Don Gionanni with her so I did not miss the chance.  It is a very well-know opera regarding a guy who is playing with girls (a lot of girls, too many girls... millions!!) just for fun.  His servant keeps the record of the girls who slept with him- 640 girls in Italy, 231 in Germany, but in Spain it is 1003!  In the end, he didn't want to change his behaviour so the statue (you should read the synopsis here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Giovanni) sinks into the earth and drags Giovanni down with him.  It sounds very odd but everyone is happy at the end.  This opera has good reviews from many papers.  If you are not very familier with opera and want to see any, maybe this is one of beginners opera to start.  Don't worry - there is subtitles so you can read and understand what they sing.


友人から誘われて久々にオペラを観に出かけました。演目はドンジョヴァンニ。女ったらしのオペラとして有名ですが、ドンの家来によるとイタリアで640人、ドイツで231人、だけどスペインだけでも1003人（確かあとトルコでも何人かいたような気がする…）の女性をたぶらかしている悪い男の話です。最後はまったく自分の悪行を改めないがために、銅像に地獄に連れて行かれてしまう話ですが（おいおい、銅像ってなんだよ…と思う方、これでも読んでみてくださいな　http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%83%89%E3%83%B3%E3%83%BB%E3%82%B8%E3%83%A7%E3%83%B4%E3%82%A1%E3%83%B3%E3%83%8B）なかなか良かったですよ。各種新聞でも前評判高しで、席も満席。3時間半（30分の休憩含）にもかかわらず、立見席までいっぱいでした。オペラ初心者でも楽しめると思いますので、なかなかオペラってとっつきにくいかも、と思っているあなた、是非お勧めですよ。言葉はちゃんと英語で字幕が出ますからご心配なく。

Midnight Tango / ミッドナイト・タンゴ

Well, I have gone to see tango performances many times before but this is the best one so far!  Generally speaking, the performance of Vincent & Flavia is very good, however, I need to see to prove it by myself!  They are both very good dancers as known in BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, and in the performance as well.  The story itself was rather simple but sexy and seductive.  Eye candy and strongly recommend to watch!

BBCの人気番組、ストリクトリーカムダンシングに出演しているヴィンセントとフラヴィアが踊るといえばもう想像がつくと思いますが、すごいったら。何回もタンゴのショーは観ている私ですが、久しぶりに大興奮してしまいました。二人だけでなく、周りのダンサーのレベルの高さが普通じゃないのよ。まだやってるのでお時間＋お金のなる方、ぜひ観に行ってみて。絶対楽しめます。
