Midnight Tango / ミッドナイト・タンゴ

Well, I have gone to see tango performances many times before but this is the best one so far!  Generally speaking, the performance of Vincent & Flavia is very good, however, I need to see to prove it by myself!  They are both very good dancers as known in BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, and in the performance as well.  The story itself was rather simple but sexy and seductive.  Eye candy and strongly recommend to watch!

BBCの人気番組、ストリクトリーカムダンシングに出演しているヴィンセントとフラヴィアが踊るといえばもう想像がつくと思いますが、すごいったら。何回もタンゴのショーは観ている私ですが、久しぶりに大興奮してしまいました。二人だけでなく、周りのダンサーのレベルの高さが普通じゃないのよ。まだやってるのでお時間＋お金のなる方、ぜひ観に行ってみて。絶対楽しめます。

The Iron Lady / 鉄の女の涙

My boyfriend and I went to see a movie called "The Iron Lady" on Saturday which has been released about a week ago.  I read some movie critics' article about the movie including her disease she has been suffering since about 8 years ago. 
She was  the Prime Minister for 11.5 years and she has done so many things which no men could do before her.  She just want to shake the Parliament to change, however she was selected as the Prime Minster.  During 80's, there were many things (good or bad) happened including the Forkland Conflict or riots.  I felt very sad in the middle because she looks very miserable as one old lady.  The thing is, she is still alive and as some movie critics said, maybe this is bit too early to release.  Having said that, Meryl Streep played very well with the British accent and her way of speaking was exactly the same as Margaret's.  I have a both feeling - part of me enjoyed but part of me felt bit too sad.

土曜日の午後、彼と二人で先週末から公開された The Iron Lady（邦題：鉄の女の涙）を観てきました。新聞やテレビの映画番組などで前評判は聞いていましたし、8年位前からサッチャー女史が患っているといわれる痴ほう症についても聞いていました。サッチャー女史が首相を務めた80年代はフォークランド紛争も含めて激動な時代。その中で彼女はたくさんのことを成し遂げ（いい悪いにかかわらず）、最高76％の支持率も獲得しました。「私が生きている間に女性の首相が誕生することはないわね」といいながら、単に男どもを揺さぶってやるために立ち上がっただけなのに当選。話し方や髪形を変えたりと、成功に向けて進んでいく姿がとてもすてきでした。が、年老いてご主人が亡くなってからのマーガレットの描かれ方がちょっと悲しすぎます。まだ存命しているのでこの映画は少し早すぎるのではないか、という映画評論家の方々のコメントがなんだかよくわかりました。がメリルストリープの英語、すごいです。あの人、英人？と思うくらい、普通にブリテッシュを話しているんです！それにしゃべり方もサッチャー女史にそっくり。さすが、名女優～。お勧めしたい気持ちとしたくない気持ちが半々です。でもメリルストりープの演技は一見の価値ありです。

Sharlock / シャーロック

I am very fond of mystery/detective novels or drama on telly.

The only television programme which satisfies me now is Sherlock, BBC drama.  I really liked the Series 1 which was broadcasted 2010, and now its Series 2 is on.  Each episode is 1.5 hours without any brakes (of course, it's BBC!) on Sunday night makes me very excited, and especially last night's episode reminded me the original Sherlock Holmes novel very much.  Can't wait until next Sunday!  Unfortunately, Episode 3 is the last of the series - hope it's coming back soon!

By the way, I am also looking forward to see a movie called War Horse, which  Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock) played as Major Stewart.  I saw the play twice already.  If you didn't see it yet, I strongly recommend to see the play, as well as the movie.


昔からミステリーとか推理小説が大好きな私ですが、読むだけでなくテレビを見るのも大好き。
今そんな私をとても満足させてくれているテレビが、毎週日曜日に放映されているBBC の「シャーロック」。現代版シャーロックホームズというんでしょうね、舞台は今のロンドン、相棒のワトソンはアフガニスタンを経験した元軍事医師、という設定です。インターネットやi phone を巧みに利用して、それはそれは見ていて楽しめるシリーズです。毎回コマーシャルなし（BBCは日本のNHK のようなものでコマーシャルはありません）の1時間半という長めの番組で、その長さを感じさせないくらい面白いのですが、特に昨日のエピソードは元祖シャーロックホームズの小説を思い起こさせるトリックで、今までで一番良かったような気がします。このシリーズは2010年に始まり、今回が2シーズン目。だけど毎年たった3回のエピソードで終わってしまうところが悲しいところです。次のシリーズは来年まで待たないといけないのかしら…。今から待ち遠しいです。日本でもDVDが販売されているようですので、機会があればぜひ。

そうそう、シャーロックの登場人物たちは大きな映画に今後出演が決まっていてそれも今から楽しみです。特にシャーロック役のベネディクト・カンバーバッチが出演しているスピルバーグ監督のWar Horse 。芝居も2回見てしまいましたがもう涙が止まらない名作です。ちょっと脱線してしまいしたが、皆さんもぜひご覧ください。

For the New Year, 2012 / 今年の初めに

Can't believe another year's gone. 
For this year, I have something to achieve - to publish my own cookery book!  To help this, my friend suggested me to start a proper blog to tell everyone what I have been cooking & baking all the time with joy.  As well as adding some recipes, and I show you what I am enjoying most in my life. 

あぁまた1年が終わってしまいました。2012年の初頭においてまず明確にしておきます！今年の私の目標は、自分の料理本を出版すること。ブログから料理本という王道からはちょっと外れちゃいましたが、少しでもこのブログが出版に向けて役に立つことを祈り・・・。　応援してください。
